New York City skyline
Although I have already posted one of these photos (the last one), today I feel like New York skyline, so I thought I’d show y’all all the (final) versions I have from my recent trip to NYC. I didn’t have a tripod, so I had to figure out different ways of having the camera fixed. While this allowed for slow shutter speeds, it limited the angles I could work with. The photos are taken in different days and different stages of sunset, hence the difference in lighting. I’ve actually printed the last frame in large format metal print (at Bayphoto) and I’m really pleased with the result.
Oh, how I do love NYC! And such wonderful skyline photos, Claudia! I bet that metal print is just gorgeous! I have some printing I’d like to do. I’ll have to look into Bayphoto 🙂

Thank you Stacy 🙂 I had a good experience with Bayphoto. The reason I choose them and not Adorama is that you can upload a large size photo (I needed a 72MB for my size) without paying a membership (which is the case with Adorama). So yeah, I’ll stick with Bayphoto. 🙂

Oh, that’s good to know. Thanks for sharing! By the way, I wanted to comment on your 1PF submission. Did you write a post? I couldn’t find one.

Blinding and amazing intensity in the second photograph. And beautiful blue tones in all of them. Thanks, Claudia.

Thank you Francis. It’s the beauty of the golden light :). Lately there is a lot of blue in my photos, not sure why 🙂

It could be a preference… but also I noted with my previous Fujifilm camera a tendence to choose a colder white balance. Getting blues…
