The happiest of flowers

Who doesn’t love sunflowers? They are warm, happy, bright and cheerful. They symbolise loyalty and longevity. When I think of sunflowers, I always remember one of my childhood fairytales, where this blonde, beautiful princess falls in love with the sun and marries him. They were happily married, however, she could only be with him in the dark, since whoever would see sun in plain light would become a flower. She loved him so much that one day she could’t resist not to light a candle and kiss him. She became a flower, the sunflower, watching her lover all day long… She is still the happiest of flowers.
