Is black and white more powerful than colour?
I think I officially entered a black and white phase. Few days ago one of my colleagues received a beautiful bouquet of pastel flowers (my favourite kind of flowers) and the only thing I wanted to do is to take black and white macros. Usually we have a beautiful sunset light in the office but I missed that so I had to take the pictures on artificial light (from above), at a high ISO and wide aperture. I shot in black and white and 1:1 directly in the camera (FujiX100S) but I liked more the result when I converted them to B&W in Lightroom. I think black and white is more powerful than colour. It’s like the difference between radio and TV: when you only listen, your imagination works harder; when you can listen and see in the same time, the brain gets lazier. What do you think?
