Light, pure light
I love, love backlit photography and I think I am obsessed with sun flares (I don’t use Photoshop so they are all created with the camera). These were made a couple of days ago before sunset – I love the sun flare in the first image and the mood it gives to the scene, but the two flares in the last images make me smile. The sun was reflecting in Trinity River and from behind the trees it looked like there were two suns.
Entry for Pure.
Lovely shots! I especially love the one with the yellow sunflowers. The sun flare only makes it even more stunning.

My favorite is definitely the first, with the sunlight shining between the flowers.

Like you, I am obsessed with solar flares and do little or no post.-processing. And I love backlit photography. So so invigorating! You inspire me to look through my files!

Thank you Eman, you take beautiful pictures! And I’m sure you would easily take something like this – the only condition is to get to these small flowers level 🙂

You’re too kind! Most of the pictures I’ve taking have been at sights of awe-inspiring natural beauty, it’s not hard to get half decent pictures of when your subject is so beautiful, but to capture the beauty of something as simple flowers, I think that’s really hard!
